My all-time favourite weapons in WolfTeam
When I started WolfTeam I honestly had no clear favorite of a weapon. All I did was basically just use what felt the best at the time. I would do some montages back then with EF-2000 Limited(sadly I've deleted these videos in the past because I wanted a fresh start, so to speak, which, looking back, was a mistake). I think it took me some years and consulting with better players and my own personal growth in the game to finally identify my own way of playing the game and using said weapons to sharpen my skill-level to a higher level. I eventually specialized in mastering some assault rifles which then defined me as a player and that had helped me match most of the cash players at the time.
Today I would like to share my personal all-time favorite weapons in WolfTeam. I will make a top x list of assault rifles I've listed in here at the end of this blog.
AUZ A2 Covra
This weapon is what eventually defined me as a player in the community of WolfTeam and friends that knew me in-game or outside of game. AUZ was my top weapons in my assault rifle- arsenals that allowed me to easily stomp a lot of players at the time. As a free weapon it performed superbly and was very accurate in a lot of situations. You could technically use it even as a sniper if you knew how, but obviously it isn't categorized as a sniper. In WolfTeam ever since I got better at aiming overall, enjoyed using bullpup or carbine styled weaponries and eventually I found AUZ as one of the emerging weapons in my arsenal to combat armored cash characters.. I would put this on my top 2 weapons that I've mastered.
While AUZ was my best weapon, it wasn't actually the very first weapon I mastered. Before it I had another weapon, which I was proficient on, or rather, had prior experience and just needed to perfect it. AUZ at the time was the best weapon that is bought with gold that you gain by playing or from opening boxes, etc. AUZ-series types other than the regular one seemed to be worse in my eyes in performance level.
Probably the best weapon you can get with gold over EF-2000 WT. AUZ A2 Covra has just so much value overall in a balanced environment.
EF-2000 WT
If you read my intro-text in this blog, I mentioned EF-2000 Limited as a weapon that I used to record montages with. Well, EF-2000 WT eventually became my top primary weapons in the assault rifle- category. I really took inspiration from another player, called vivicide, who had made a weapon guide for this weapon. EF-2000-series in WolfTeam was my favourites due to how similar they seemed to function and how they felt nice to use. It's ammo capacity in a mag was just 24 bullets so you had to make the shots really matter. Its 3-shot burst was very deadly if you didn't overpush the recoil with it, pinning it as a close rival to AUZ A2 Covra. What made EF-2000 series my favourite and most likely, my top assault rifles at the time, was how much effort you had to put into it. With AUZ you could kind of forego certain aspects about its functionality and it would be overall much better in almost any areas than EF 2000. Despite EF's shortcomings in comparison to AUZ, it was still overall a better weapon in certain aspects and much more rewarding. Definitely worth getting with gold and using in a balanced environment.
AKEI-47 PMC
If EF and AUZ were the top guns in their overall capability of being used proficiently, then AKEI-47 PMC takes the cake at being really immense and tough to handle in a precision-level as well to master it. AK's in WolfTeam have often been the weapons that have a lot of kick in them and are required to have good recoil management, otherwise your shots would stray a lot. For me when I used AKEI 47 PMC it usually meant that I was trying to fix some of aiming problems by managing the recoil and just practicing overall aiming. It also was a great weapon for montage-content. Easily one of my favourite weapons in the game as well, purchase-able with gold.
J-89 AT
A weapon in Wolf Coin shop. Honestly when I tried using J-89(the basic version of the gun) I loved how different it was when I compared it to EF and AUZ: It functioned a bit differently but retained the same feel as the two gold guns. I mostly considered J-89 AT to be my backup weapon if I was super poor in the game. But in terms of how easy it is to use? Fairly easy, although I think its bullet spread is bit annoying but if you manage your shots it works just like EF 2000 in comparison.
TAL-21 Wolfy/JCF
When I first saw these weapons I thought they would probably become the next generation of best weapons bought with gold. Well, in my standards they probably are: They're slightly superior to AUZ and Covra in some of the statistics but still the weapon has a bit more kick in it if you compare it to EF, but that's barely noticeable. Overall the weapon feels very fun and is definitely in my favourites.
And finally, my favourite pistol in the game is...
EM-500C
Back then I had another favorite pistol, PI-226 R, but eventually because I had to find a strong pistol to counter armored characters I ended up picking EM-500C as a pistol since it had a scope that I could use to make precision shots from a short distance better, I struggled mostly with firing from the hip with both pistols and rifles.
...
I will now reveal my favourite assault rifles in a top 5 order:
- EF-2000 WT
- AUZ A2 Covra
- TAL-21 JCF/Wolfy(recently after 2019, otherwise AKEI-47 PMC would be 3rd and J-89 AT 4th)
- AKEI-47 PMC
- J-89 AT
- EM-500 C
- PI-226 R
- DE-50
- USF-40
