WolfTeam as a game needs to be shut down in order to make the correct fixes

In order for a game to be taken seriously again or get some returning players back, a game needs to be born anew again, so to speak. But doing so is asking the developer to invest in it and not repeat the same mistakes they've done previously. On the other hand, though, doing so will most certainly revitalize the game that is currently dying of its playerbase.

WolfTeam, since 2013, has slowly sank into a bottomless hole where the player-base of its game, mainly in AeriaGames, is withering out. You can still expect fairly high amount player-base in the international version, latino and turkey, but overall if we're looking specifically at the game itself, we can see there are a lot of issues it is dealing it.

1) The monetization and the premium cash items: Currently in WolfTeam a lot of the items you can get are funnily enough, cheap, and the content/product/sale managers have offered players very good deals in the tiered spenders and a lot of other things, such as giving out permanent sets/weapon for roughly 80€ or more. Sadly this mostly just encourages people to buy these items, and not bother to look long-term - What I mean is that the team is practically doing these impressive sales to get a lot value out of the game as long as they can before the game eventually becomes dead. If it isn't already.

2) Gameplay and balance: Overall from what I've experienced in July when I made a montage, the game is rather obnoxious to play as a regular player who doesn't use stronger items and characters. While you do get these daily gifts where you get these strong weapons and characters, it defeats the purpose, also encouraging players to solely rely on these items. Many might say this is a good thing, considering how unbalanced the game practically is - Everyone's with Legend weapons or the weapons that can just easily 1 tap the player on head(armor and 300+ hp might not even save you from these weapons). Regular gold weapons just suck.

3) Content overall: I think I can say with utmost confidence that the content you see in WolfTeam now and since 2015 onward has turned rather one-dimensional. Personally it is insuffereable to watch a good game just repeat the same design patterns over and over and the developers' unwillingess to make fixes and take a look at the statistics of the game and how the items are performing - f2p vs cash.

4) Media on the websites vs the game as it is now: Yesterday I decided to check wolfteam international's media page just to see if they've changed anything there. To my disappointment - No. They've still kept the old UCC contest videos. Don't get me wrong though - These videos definitely brough a lot of interest in the past but if we were to compare the game then and now? A dramatic difference.

Question, however, remains - Do the WolfTeam developers want the game to flourish again? I can say that WolfTeam Classic isn't the answer, at all. Even if it's supposedly trying to rebalance the items, it still is suffering from the same issues its current versions are dealing with. The developers and the the companies who have licensed the game won't do anything drastic for the game so their option is to just milk the game dry.

Tragic.
